                                                  If you are a nature lover and want to have a romantic break in India what better place can be than of Kerala? Lush green landscapes dotted with coconut groves, sun-kissed beaches, breathtaking backwaters, waterfalls, verdant hill stations, exotic wildlife sanctuaries and parks, enchanting bird sanctuaries, etc have made Kerala the most visited destination in the country.

                                                 Some of the popular waterfalls of Kerala are Athirapally, Vazhachal, Palaruvi and Tusharagiri

                                                  Athirampally and Vazhachal Waterfalls, east of Chalakudy, About 63 km from Thichur(74 km from Cochin) at the entrance to the Sholayar ranges is a place of great scenic beauty and popular picnic spot. Here, the water plunges from a height of nearly 80 feet before joining the Chalakudi river. Vazhachal is 5 km away from Athirampally, this picturesque spot is adjacent to a dense green forest, and is a part of Chalakudi River. Athirappally and Vazhachal waterfall merges with the water of the Chalakudy river after falling from atop.

                                                  Palaruvi Waterfall, an important picnic spot is situated near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, 75 Kms away from Kollam and 5 km from Aryankavu. Palaruvi means 'stream of milk'. It is one of the famous waterfalls in south India. The stream of water falls from a height of 300 ft. The picturesque beauty of the surroundings cloaked in dense tropical forests, with the hills, valleys and cascades, is magnificent. This water is known to be medicated as it flows down from the forest and is said to be a preventive for many diseases. So taking a bath in the pool of water formed by the waterfall will rejuvenate your soul. Best time to visit the place is June-January.

                                                 Thusharagiri is a little tribal tourist spot in Kerala, situated at Kodencherry in Kozhikode district with plantation destination that abounds in rubber, areca nut, pepper, ginger and spices is also a trekker's delight. Thusharagiri waterfall creating a snowy spray, which gives the name 'Thusharagiri' which means 'snowy peak'; Thushargiri exhibits a unique kinship between the land and water.  The three waterfalls on the backdrop of the Western Ghats provide an exhilarating and spellbinding sight to the visitor. The best roar of the waterfalls can be enjoyed from September to November. The waterfall with its gentle spray is sure to soothe every eye. The cascading waters of the waterfall slides past with surfy smiles.

                                                     Thommankuth waterfalls is another rainfall waterfalls in Kerala, 28 km from Thodupuzha and 74 km from Cochin. This place is ideal for natural lovers as the seven-step waterfall here is a much loved picnic spot. Thommankuthu also an ideal place for adventure tourism.

                                                    Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls are located near Narimangalam and Adimali on the Kochi-Madurai highway. The Cheeyapara waterfalls cascade down in seven steps. The surroundings of the beautiful Cheeyappara waterfalls are a great place where you can pursue a range of activities; it's an ideal place for trekking.

                                                    Attukal located between Munnar and Pallivasal, a beautiful sight of waterfalls and rolling hills. Attukal is an ideal place for trekking. The beautiful Attukal waterfall offers a lovely respite for the weary traveller.
