The Krishna Menon Museum

Sri V K Krishna Menon was the first High Commissioner to London and a defence minister under the Prime ministership of Jawaharlal Nehru. The Krishna Menon Museum is located in the city of Kozhikode (Calicut), right next to the Pazhassi Raja Museum.

The Krishna Menon Museum was established in 1975. The Krishna Menon Museum is a major attraction to the tourists who visit Kozhikode. It is easily accessible through the Karipur Airport (26 km away) or from the Kozhikode Junction. V K Krishna Menon's personal belongings as well as the souvenirs he had received in his days are exhibited there along with the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma. The most significant sections of the Gallery and the Museum are devoted to the evolution and the growth of the Indian Republic during the post independent times.
